Tap in the joy this spring

One of the most important things I have learned in 20 years of recovery is that I don’t have to take myself so damn seriously. Now, when you feel like you are going through a crisis, it can feel extremely serious and I’m definitely not advocating and sort of spiritual bypassing or denial of reality… I’m just saying… lighten up. Laugh a little. Let shit go. It’s not that serious. It’s springtime! Open up the windows and dance a little and remember what it was like to be a kid again.
