Gentle Yoga (Pregnancy Friendly)

Tuesdays at 1pm at The Bridge Yoga
In gentle yoga, the movement is slow, each movement is linked with breath, and we enter into the postures gradually—moving in and out of each pose first, and then finding a holding position. This preparation and fluid entry into postures protects and nurtures the joints, muscles, and connective tissue.

Yoga Nidra 5-week Series

Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation practice brought to the west by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. The practice takes us on a journey through the states of consciousness and subtle bodies while remaining awake and totally aware. In this space we can release muscular, emotional, and mental tensions and enter a state of deep relaxation and restoration. The ultimate goal is to wake up to our essential nature and access wisdom resources of our higher levels of consciousness.
This 5-week series meets virtually, so you can join from anywhere!

Is Recovery Yoga for you?
Are you struggling with grief, anxiety or depression? Are you healing from trauma or looking to overcome a substance abuse issue?
This trauma-sensitive series is designed to help support your mental health and give you the space you need to heal your mind through the body.
We will explore mindfulness practices, somatic holds, asana, meditation, and energy techniques to restore your spirit and regulate your nervous system.
The series is designed to help anyone at any stage of their mental health recovery and/or yoga journey.

Releasing Emotional Patterns with Mindfulness, Yoga, and Aromatherapy WORKSHOP
In this workshop, you will be guided through a protocol using 7 different essential oils specifically designed to work with the body’s energy centers to shift and release stuck emotional patterns. We will incorporate mindfulness practices as well as asana (movement). Each participant will leave with a sample oil and a guide to use at home. Space is limited, so claim your spot today!

Natural Baby Workshop
Sunday, November 10th from 4-5pm at The Bridge: WORKSHOP - Natural Baby: How to Soothe Fussiness and Bond with Your Baby Using Yoga, Massage, and Aromatherapy
This workshop is for parents/caregivers and their babies ages 6 weeks to 6 months. You will learn simple and effective ways to care for your baby using massage, essential oils (specifically for babies), and yoga stretches. You do not need to have any experience with yoga to join this workshop, and each participant will leave with Gentle Baby roller bottle to use at home along with a Natural Baby Guide. Spots are limited so make sure to claim your spot.

If you would like to incorporate yoga into your school day for students and/or staff, let’s chat!
I am currently offering classroom yoga at the following schools:
Mondays: Traditions Montessori School
Fridays: Renner Academy
Each class is approximately 30-45 minutes and will include a variation of mindful movement, breathing techniques, mindfulness practices, games, songs, and storytelling. These practices foster connection, improve body awareness, increase focus, reduce stress and anxiety, and build confidence for a more emotionally intelligent and well-regulated child. I have witnessed the transformation that happens when children practice these mind-body practices and believe this to be a crucial component to a well-rounded education especially in these times of constant distraction.

Aqua Yoga

Aqua Yoga is a fun and effective way to cool off and practice yoga at the same time! Practicing yoga in the water is a great way to try poses that aren’t normally available on land! Benefits include:
- Reduced stress on joints
- Increased strength due to water resistance
- Deepened relaxation and meditative states
- Improved balance due to less gravity
You will leave feeling refreshed and restored! For all levels of yogis including beginners and pregnant mamas.
