The little things aren’t little


It’s been a while… how ya been?

The older I get the more I realize how important it is to savor the little things and the little moments… like the way the sun feels on my face in the morning, or the way my dogs shake their booties when they see me, or when a stranger holds the door for me. These are the things that keep me going day in and day out. I can wear myself out chasing the big things (which I am very aware of doing quite often), but those aren’t always going to be accessible or sustainable…. the little things, the glimmers… they are available in each moment if I choose to look for them. Right now I am savoring a quiet house and warm cup of tea. What about you?
