End of Life Doula Services

What is an end of life doula? An end of life doula is a non-medical, certified guide that helps an individual (and their family) through the dying process. They provide emotional, practical, and spiritual support as well as comfort. An end of life doula advocates for the dying allowing them to transition with dignity and peace.

  • Planning

    Advance Care Planning

I help facilitate conversations and planning for end of life preferences for medical care, funeral arrangements, and other important decisions.

This can be done at any time for anyone. It’s such a gift to complete Advance Directives for yourself so that your loved ones can easily make decisions.

I also help with organizing paperwork (Living Wills, Medical Power of Attorney, Beneficiaries), coordinating care, and creating meaningful rituals and end of life ceremonies.

  • Supporting

    Emotional and Spiritual Support

I offer a compassionate and non-judgmental safe space for individuals to express their fears, anxieties, and hopes as they transition.

I’m also available to help guide the family members through the dying process, connect them to resources, provide respite (sitting vigil) and navigate the many challenges of end of life care and grief.

  • Comforting

    Comfort and Sacred Space

I provide reiki, aromatherapy, guided visualizations/meditations, and gentle massage for the individual dying.

I can also help with end of life reflection and wishes as well as legacy projects such as writing memoirs, recording stories, letter writing, monetary donations, and memory books.

“We are all just walking each other home.”
